Notre Dame girls win Stellar title; McGivern MVP

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Notre Dame defeated Boyertown 45-38 in the championship game of the Stellar girls basketball tournament. The finals were played indoors at Parkland High School after several rain storms forced everyone to evacuate Cedar Beach. Rising senior Lexi McGivern scored 19 points and was named the tournament's MVP. Other all-tournament selections included Parkland's Olivia Brown (6th man award winner), Emmaus' Beth Wiseley, Northwestern's Sara Jones, Nazareth's Morgan Calabrese, Boyertown's Kaitlyn Eisenhard and Brooke Mullen. Notre Dame went through the tournament umblemished with a 6-0 mark.
