FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES
Chase Barbieri, a 2011 graduate of Monmouth University, has been hired to replace Joe Tucker as head boys soccer coach at Voorhees High School. Barbieri was approved by the school board on June 19, according to Athletic Director Al Stumpf.
Barbieri played four years at Monmouth, where he captained the team as a senior. He was on the Hermann Award watch list as a junior and senior. The Hermann Trophy is given by the Missouri Athletic Club to the top men's and women's Division I player each year - the soccer equivalent of the Heisman Trophy.
