Bath prepares for first-round game with Doylestown in American Legion Region 2 baseball tournament

http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/sports/index.ssf/2012/07/bath_prepares_for_first_round.html FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES Bath won its first Northampton County American Legion Baseball League title in 20 years on Tuesday but the team is no stranger to the Region 2 tournament. The NorCo champs competed in the Region 2 event last season when Northampton County received two representatives in the tourney. Bath went 2-2 with both losses coming to Boyertown, which went on to capture its 22nd region championship since Pennsylvania went to the current format in 1974. Bath won't have to worry about the big, bad Bears at any point in the Region 2 tournament, which gets under way Saturday with four first-round games. Boyertown didn't make the tourney field, getting knocked out in the Berks County championship game by Shillington.
