MERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, Bethlehem needs volunteers for planning committees for Relay for Life of Bethlehem or Macungie. DELAWARE AND LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton is in need of adult volunteers for Immersion Days, April 23 to May 25 at Hugh Moore Park. Volunteers instruct and interpret canal-related lessons to fourth through eight grade students during a day-long immersion into canal life. Volunteers receive training, period costumes, resource materials and may also tend and walk the mules, assist the blacksmith, and help at the museum store. DOWNTOWN BETHLEHEM ASSOCIATION has volunteer opportunities for its "Spring on Fourth! What's on Third?" event on April 21 for set up at 9 a.m.; ticket booth, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; ambassadors, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and clean-up, 4-5 p.m. The event is free and features a chili contest, entertainment and family activities. LEHIGH COUNTY CONFERENCE OF CHURCHES, Allentown is looking for someone to staff its front desk and direct visitors. Additional duties may include copying, filing, and assisting with paperwork. PROJECT BLUEPRINT, the Volunteer Center is seeking racially diverse volunteers for its upcoming minority volunteer leadership program. Project Blueprint develops and trains volunteers to serve on local nonprofit committees and boards. The seven session program, which covers topics related to board membership and leadership skills, will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays, beginning March 19.
