Coverage of the 2012 Izod IndyCar Series begins this weekend on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN). NBCSN will provide coverage of ten races during the year.
Along with race day coverage NBCSN will also provide IndyCar qualifying coverage, Firestone Indy Lights telecasts, and a new half-hour athlete profile show, IndyCar 36.
Bob Jenkins will lead the telecasts with analysts Jon Beekhuis and Wally Dallenbach, Jr. Marty Snider and Kevin Lee will return this season as pit reporters, and will be joined by Townsend Bell. Robin Miller will serve as the network’s IndyCar reporter.
