By now, you've seen the billboards hovering over area roadways touting Joe Theismann's appearance as main speaker at the Via All-Star Banquet on Wednesday night at Freedom High School.

But Theismann will not be the only prominent name in the building.

The event will also feature the return of former Whitehall High and Penn State standout Pete Lisicky, who will be there to present his sister, Mary, as a new Hall of Fame member.

Current University of Iowa and former Lehigh coach Fran McCaffery will be back in the area to present former CCHS and Lehigh standout Mike Polaha as a new Hall of Fame inductee.

And, Mike Kopp, the winningest coach in state basketball history, will present his former player Jackie Adamshick.

It's all shaping up as a very special night.

Ticket sales for the banquet will end on Friday. Call 610-317-8000 or go to www.ViaNet.org for ticket info, Here are the particulars on everything that Via has going on this Sunday.
