Junior Mike Racciato ran for two touchdowns and had a 68-yard scoring reception from Conor Gum today to lead the unbeaten Pen Argyl Area High School football team to a 26-7 victory over Northern Lehigh in the District 11 Class AA championship game at Alumni Stadium.
It was the Green Knights' first district title since 2001 and second victory over Northern Lehigh this season. The Green Knights (12-0) will play District 2 champion Wilkes Barre in the PIAA Class AA playoffs on Friday at Wyoming Valley West High School in Kingston, Pa.
Northern Lehigh (10-2) was the defending District 11 Class AA champion.
Dylan Evans rushed for 120 yards on 25 carries for the Green Knights.
