Want to be in a movie with a cast member of "The Sopranos"?
A casting call will be held Saturday at the Mount Airy Casino Resort for a major motion picture starring Vincent Pastore, best known for portraying Sal Bonpensiero on the hit HBO drama series.
The filmmakers said they want "new faces and talent" for a film that will begin shooting in the spring and summer of 2012.
The auditions are 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Airy's Gypsies Lounge & Nightclub in Paradise Township, Monroe County.
One person will receive a walk-on role, while others will be cast as extras, according to Lauren Hovey, a spokeswoman for the film.
No details about the film were released, except that it would star Pastore and be directed by actor-turned-director Paul Borghese.
The filmmakers were not available for comment, Hovey said.
Those who audition will get two minutes during the open casting call. Hovey said it is suggested they prepare a contemporary monologue lasting less than two minutes.
The monologue could be a scene from a film, television show or play, she said. Otherwise, they can participate in a simple interview with the filmmakers to be considered for a call-back audition.
Following the auditions, a screening of Borghese's crime film "Goat" will be held, followed by an after-party at Gypsies, which will be open to the public.
Pastore appeared in "Goat," as did actor William DeMeo, who will also be appearing in Borghese's new project.
