According to the Express Times, John McDowell and Rob Sawicki have both stepped down as head coaches at their respective schools.
John McDowell was the head coach at Dieruff High School in Allentown. McDowell compiled a 0-30 record in three seasons at Dieruff. He and his wife are moving back to Oregon to pursue other job opportunities.
Rob Sawicki was the head coach at Salisbury Township High School in Allentown. He was 5-36 in four seasons at Salisbury, who joined the staff in 2004 as an assistant under Mark Scisly.
His most successful season with Salisbury came in 2009 when Salisbury made the District 11 AA tournament.
