AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, Bethlehem needs administrative help with mailings, filing, data entry, and other clerical duties during morning and afternoon hours on weekdays. Contact: Kim Harakal, 610-921-2329, Kim.harakal@cancer.org.

FLINT HILL FARM EDUCATIONAL CENTER, Coopersburg needs tour guides for fall/winter farm tours, 8:30-11:30 a.m. or 12:30-3 p.m. a few days a month to assist with school groups touring the farm. Orientation and training provided. Contact: Kathleen Fields, 610-838-2928, kathy@flinthill-farm.org.

HAWK MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY, Kempton is looking for outdoor-oriented people to direct visitors to available parking spaces and provide basic information about the sanctuary. KREIDERSVILLE COVERED BRIDGE ASSOCIATION, Northampton seeks volunteers for its annual Tree Lighting event 3:30-6 p.m. Dec. 11, rain date, Dec. 12. Volunteers will direct cars to the parking area and greet participants, hand out cookies and hot chocolate, help Santa and clean-up. . Contact: Sue Irons, 610-262-9335.

SIXTH STREET SHELTER, Allentown is looking for child care volunteers 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays to monitor its Family Resource Center by occupying children while parents work on job searches and resumes. Contact: Lauren Schwartz, 610-435-1490, lschwartz@caclv.org.

THE MIRACLE LEAGUE OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY, Whitehall, needs volunteers Saturday to help at baseball games at 11 a.m. and 12:30 and 2 p.m. Volunteers will help players to bat, run the bases and to catch. Contact: Andy Squire, 610-984-5142, andy@miracleleaguelv.org.

THE SALVATION ARMY CHILDREN'S SERVICES, Allentown is in need of volunteers to assist with answering phones in its Foster Care and Adoption Department. The receptionist will take calls from parents and prospective foster and adoptive parents, refer callers to social work staff, take messages, and assist with light office duties as needed.
