Nazareth Area High School pitcher Karl Keglovits to play baseball at North Carolina State

Nazareth Area High School athletic director Rusty Amato has confirmed a preliminary report that senior pitcher Karl Keglovits will sign a national letter to play baseball at North Carolina State when the early signing period begins on Nov. 9.

Keglovits chose not to talk about the signing when contacted today.

Keglovits was 8-1 last spring with a 1.30 ERA. He allowed 41 hits and struck out 77 while walking 16 in 59-1/3 innings. He batted .362 with three home runs and 24 RBIs.
