IHOP offers free Scary Face pancakes

IHOP is getting a jump on Halloween with a Scary Face Pancake freebie.

The chain will offer free pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday at participating restaurants across the country, according to a news release.

Kids can create their own scary face with an oversized buttermilk pancake with whipped topping for a mouth, a strawberry for a nose and Oreos and candy corn for decoration.

Kids 12 and younger are eligible for the promotion.
