A Phillipsburg man is charged with stealing $86 in men’s clothing from Kohl’s in Lower Nazareth Township, according to court records.
Anthony J. DeFrancesco Jr., 41, of the first block of Rose Street in Phillipsburg, allegedly took the clothing into a fitting room at the Lower Nazareth Township clothing store on July 23, according to court records.
Once inside the fitting room, DeFrancesco stuffed the clothing into a shopping bag he'd brought into the store, authorities say.
DeFrancesco was charged with retail theft and released on $2,000 unsecured bail, according to court records.
