WHAT:
Thousands of fans are expected to cheer on the Fightin' Phils during a Postseason Rally on Citizens Bank Way (no game ticket needed) before Game 1 of the NLDS. Among those scheduled to attend are Phillies Alumni Dave Cash, Dallas Green, Tommy Greene, Greg Luzinski and Hall of Famer Pat Gillick, as well as the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls. Scott Palmer, Phillies Director of Public Affairs, will emcee the event. Popular local band Mr. Greengenes will also perform.

The event is part of the Phillies Postseason Block Party, which will be held prior to all home postseason games. Saturday's pre-game party starts at 2:00 p.m., and includes a live concert, free interactive games, free Turkey Hill Dairy ice cream samplings, meet and greet with the Phillies Ballgirls, and Phillies face painting. The event also includes plenty of food and beverages, as well as Official Phillies Postseason Merchandise available to purchase at a tent adjacent to the Third Base Gate. Local area radio stations will also be onsite with interactive games and activities.
