Bushkill Township man headed to state prison for hotel room meth lab

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

A Bushkill Township man is headed to state prison for a handful of criminal offenses, including attempting to make methamphetamine at a Hampton Inn.

Judge Leonard Zito sentenced Todd Laudenbach, 38, of the 1300 block of Bushkill Center Drive, to two to four years in state prison, followed by three years of probation for four separate incidents.

Laudenbach’s cases begin on Oct. 14, 2010, when he assaulted a man who was with Laudenbach’s ex-girlfriend at the Bushkill Township Red Carpet Inn.

The next month, Laudenbach took an ex-girlfriend’s car and returned it to her mother’s house.

In April of this year, Laudenbach and another man tried to cook meth at the Hampton Inn in Lower Nazareth Township. Their effort was foiled when a smoke alarm triggered.

Finally, Laudenbach threatened another man and yelled outside a Northampton County courtroom, leading sheriff deputies to arrest him.

Zito ordered Laudenbach to pay $2,201 to the state police crime lab, $2,790 to Hecktown Fire Department and $2,155.51 to the Hampton Inn.
