Tony Bruno Returns to Host Philadelphia Midday Show on 97.5 The Fanatic

Philadelphia, PA (September 6, 2011): 97.5 The Fanatic is excited to announce the return of the Tony Bruno Show to the Noon to 2pm midday time slot. Tony Bruno, will host his show Monday through Friday from Noon to 2pm, and will be co-hosted by Harry Mayes.

Starting Monday, October 3rd, Tony will be back as a full-time Philadelphia resident. In recent years, Bruno worked as both a local Philadelphia radio host on 97.5 The Fanatic and the host of the national show “Into the Night with Tony Bruno” from Los Angeles.

Tony Bruno’s success in radio spans more than 30 years. It all started in Philadelphia where he began his career at legendary WFIL Famous 56 at age 18 and has taken him to award winning reporter, anchor and talk show host at the highest level of the industry.

“I’m very excited about returning home and coming back to my 97.5 the Fanatic slot to resume the great radio we started in 2010,” said Tony Bruno. “This is the best sports city in America and having done national sports talk for more than 25 years, nothing beats being back in Philly where it all started with my family, friends and great radio fans from all over the Delaware Valley. We did something no one thought was possible, and now with a total commitment to “local only” radio, this should solidify us as the best sports radio station in Philly, period!”

97.5/The Fanatic is owned by Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., a subsidiary of Greater Media, Inc., the parent company of 23 AM and FM radio stations in the Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, New Jersey and Philadelphia markets.
