New Season at the Center!

September Gallery: Ten Artists return with this unique art fundraising gallery showing. Auction continues through Saturday, September 24, 2011. How it works, "We start with 20 blank panels, each artist taking two and making their mark on it. Then each time we meet,we pass those panels on to another artist and take two more, continuing this process until all 20 panels had been worked on by all 10 artists." All proceeds benefit the Center.

Gallery Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon until 2:00 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. except on holiday weekends.

October Gallery: Features the art work of Nazareth's Kevin Broad. Reception Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. And on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with artist's remarks at 3:00 p.m.

Ellyot H. RAY is more than happy to be performing for the first time at Nazareth Center For The Arts. From Dark-Blues to Acoustic Soul, within lyrical folk music, definitely world-widely influenced and oriented, Ellyot H. RAY is hard to define and nearly impossible to put in a box. 'Our world is not made of certainties, it is an harmony of tensions. So is music.' says E. H. Ray. What is sure is that September 17th is going to be a great acoustic show! Beautifully sliding his Weissenborn lap-slide guitar, strumming his open tuning amazing finger-picking guitar, come join Ellyot H. RAY onto a journey through timeless blues, folk-rock and soulful acoustic.

Gar Francis & Colin O'Leary

Gar Francis. Gar has been performing and entertaining audiences for years. He is the songwriter for the legendary 60s band the Doughboys and his original Americana music has recently been placed in both TV and movies. As a singer/songwriter, Gar has received awards for songwriting from The John Lennon Song Contest, the Unisong Music Awards, and an Honorable Mention in the Billboard Song Contest.

Colin O'Leary is a 17 year old folk musician born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. He is influenced by a combination of Celtic and Americana as well as folk music. Colin is also a member of Stereo Silent, a pop/punk band that advanced to the finals of the Barony Band Slam competition.

Trevor Gordon Hall & The Jason Hahn Experience
September 30, 2011 | 7:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Trevor Gordon Hall returns to the Center. The guitar virtuoso again brings his unique, 'experiential' sound to the Center. Trevor's pieces range in sound from edgy, driving rhythms to sweet melodic phrases. http://www.trevorgordonhall.com/ Watch Trevor perform at a recent Center show.

The Jason Hahn Experience is an acoustic duo featuring Jason Hahn, acoustic guitar, and Ansel Barnum on mouth harp. They performed at the Borough Park during the Barony Band Slam Competition, at the Thrill on the Hill, and Jason performed a solo set at the Nazareth Farmer's Market.

This will be a night of innovative instrumental acoustic music.
