The seeds to Freedom's disappointing 4-6 football season in 2010 may have been sown in week four when they suffered a 20-14 loss to Emmaus in the final minute of play.
"I think there is a better level of maturity this year," Roeder said. "It goes back to that rotten feeling we had in our mouths after last year and really wanting to fix that. These guys have worked so hard in the off-season."
Coach Jason Roeder's squad is off to a 3-0 start in 2011 -- including an impressive 34-24 win over Central Catholic in week two. The Patriots look to keep the record unblemished as they travel to Emmaus (2-1) on Friday for a key Lehigh Valley Conference matchup.
