Allentown Fair daily schedule: FRIDAY, SEPT. 2

FROM THE MORNING CALL

•Hours: Noon to 11 p.m.

•Admission: $6; free, ages 11 and under and everyone noon to 2 p.m.

Noon: 4-H and Ag-Ed Market Beef, Dairy Beef judging, judging tent.

Noon- 10 p.m.: Agri~Plex exhibits/demonstrations, Agri~Plex. Poultry Building, Livestock Barns, 4-H Barnyard Petting Zoo, outside the judging tent.

Noon-11 p.m.: Indoor shopping, dining, Fair personality Punkin Miller headquarters, Lehigh Valley Garden Railroad Club running exhibit, main exhibit building. Outdoor shopping/eating stands, First and Fourth avenues and midway.

1 p.m.: Farm to Table Cooking Series, "Come Grow With Us" contest winner, Agri~Plex.

1-9 p.m.: Demonstrating Crafter of the Day – Deborah Powell Kramer stained glass designs, main exhibit building.

2-11 p.m.: Rides, games, midway.

2 p.m.: Tracy Lee Band, country music, music tent. Farm to Table Cooking Series, Mark Muszynski, chef/owner Curious Goods at Bake Oven Inn, Agri~Plex.

2:30 p.m.: Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court.

3 p.m.: Extreme Canine Stunt Dog Show, Farmerama Theater. Farm to Table Cooking Series, Abe Lopez executive chef Sangria, Allentown, and Chopped Winner Food Network, Agri~Plex. Beef Breeding, judging tent.

3:15 p.m.: Brian Xander, singer/songwriter, Centennial Stage.

3:30 p.m.: Big Cat Encounter, educational show and exhibit, Machinery Avenue Court.

4 p.m.: Farm to Table Cooking Series, Char Hartley, executive chef Sodexho at Northampton Community College, Agri~Plex.

4:15 p.m.: Brian Xander, singer/songwriter, Centennial Stage.

4:30 p.m.: Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court.

5 p.m.: Extreme Canine Stunt Dog Show, Farmerama Theater. Farm to Table Cooking Series, Susan Roth, Culinary Instructor Northampton Community College and three time Allentown Fair Iron Chef winner, Agri~Plex.

5:15 p.m.: Contest Mother/Daughter, Father/Son Look Alike, Centennial Stage.

5:30 p.m.: Big Cat Encounter, educational show and exhibit, Machinery Avenue Court.

6 p.m.: Farm to Table Cooking Series, Shawn Doyle, chef/owner Savory Grille, Agri~Plex. Overall Livestock Showmanship contest, judging tent.

6:15 p.m.: Gesture without Motion musical duo of Todd & Dawn, Centennial Stage.

6:30 p.m.: B Street Band, a tribute to the "Boss," music tent. Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court.

7 p.m.: Sugarland with special guest Sara Bareilles, grandstand. Extreme Canine Stunt Dog Show, Farmerama Theater. Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery's Cooking with Wine Holiday Appetizers Contest, Agri~Plex.

7:30 p.m.: Big Cat Encounter, educational show and exhibit, Machinery Avenue Court. Hay Bale Throwing contest, judging tent. Kan Do K9 Dog Training Club, dog training tips and techniques, Centennial Stage.

8 p.m.: B104 Dance Contest, Farmerama Theater.

8:30 p.m.: Robinson's Pig Paddling Porkers, pig racing, Machinery Avenue Court.

10:15 p.m.: Lucky 7, R&B dance music, Bier Garten.

Strolling attractions: Scott's Crazy Comedy Magic Show, Bounce and Ooo La La Comedy Juggling Show, Fair Mascots, Dapper Dan the clown, fairgrounds.

WFMZ Channel 69 News tent, midway.
