Who will be in next year's Super Bowl?

FROM KEITH GROLLER

It turned out to be a very good Super Bowl. A little too sloppy to make it a great one, in my opinion, but still very good. Give credit to the Steelers for fighting back to make it interesting.

But there were lots of mistakes.

The Steelers had three huge turnovers and an ill-advised coaching decision to try a real long field goal that wasn't close.

The Packers had several big drops and dumb penalties.

And it seemed like there was an injury on every play.

But any game that isn't decided until the final minute is a good one.

By now you definitely know the Lombardi Trophy is going home. That became the cliche of the day, at least in the postgame ceremony -- the Lombardi Trophy is going back to Green Bay. Must have been said 20 times in 20 minutes. Ok, we get it. The trophy is named after a deceased Green Bay coach who won the first two Super Bowls and now Green Bay won the Super Bowl again.

We also get that Aaron Rodgers is a pretty good quarterback. He made some great throws. He also had some not-so great throws and seemed out of sync at times. He is good, no doubt about it. But like Kurt Warner, Tom Brady, the Mannings, etc., pressure can rattle him.

Let's not make him St. Aaron just yet, ok?

Don't know who had a worse day -- Christina Aguilera, who botched the National Anthem or A-Rod who happened to be caught on camera just as Cameron Diaz was playfully feeding him some popcorn. The A-Rod bashers, especially those who think he's too soft, will have a field day with that scene. Even Joe Buck couldn't pass up a shot.

As for me, I got the winner on both the spread and the over/under. Finished 7-4 in the postseason in all categories (outright, spread over/under).

Had I been in Vegas -- and I truly want to spend a Super Bowl there one day -- I would have missed on several prop bets.

Buck and Aikman never mentioned Favre once, although he was brought up several times during the postgame show.

The Gatorade dumped on Mike McCarthy was orange. I thought it would just be water.

Aguilera stayed on "Brave" for about 10 seconds. Of course, she was probably happy she got that word right, so she emphasized it a long time, hoping people would forget her earlier flub.

The odds are already out on who will be in next year's big game, set for Feb. 5 in Indianapolis.

Of course, I haven't seen any odds on whether or not there will be a 2012 season. So much money is to be made in this game that odds are these guys won't leave it all on the table and we will have a 2012 season at some point.
