RE: Tuskes Park Tree Planting

To Whom It May Concern:

The Recreation Board of Upper Nazareth Township is requesting the assistance from each organization that utilizes Tuskes Park and also from any other local organization or individual with an interest in improving and beautifying the community we live in.

Our goal is to have each organization that uses the park provide 10 volunteers to help plant trees. Our next tree planting will take place on April 9, 2011 at 8:00 am. The rain date will be April 10, 2011 at 8:00 am.

The holes will be pre-dug and machinery will be placing the trees in the holes. Our volunteers will only need to backfill the dirt, water the tree and place mulch on top. We will meet in the parking lot by the refreshment building. Please have volunteers bring a shovel and a pair of gloves. (Additional shovels will be available to those who wish to participate but have no shovel.)

Organizations are asked to provide a list of participating volunteers by April 1.
