http://sportsmediajournal.com/ ESPN To Carry Kontinental Hockey League Games- ESPN is getting back into the business of televising professional hockey. The WWL will have a minimum of seven games from 2012-13 season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) exclusively on ESPN. Coverage begins Tuesday, October 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET with Steve Levy and Barry Melrose calling the Lev vs. Dynamo Moscow game live on ESPN2 and ESPN3. Other games will air on October 14th (9:00a.m. ET), October 16th (11:30a.m. ET), October 18th ( 11:45a.m. ET), October 22nd (12:30p.m. ET) and October 29th (11:30a.m. ET) on ESPN3. Next Edition of A Football Life to Profile Fearsome Foursome- NFL Network’s next production of A Football Life will look back at the famous Los Angeles Rams defensive line of Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen, Rosey Grier and Lamar Lundy of the late 1960′s. The Fearsome Foursome: A Football Life premieres next Wednesday at 8:00p.m. ET. NBATV’s Open Court Returns Tuesday Night- NBA TV’s roundtable discussion with network anchors and analysts, Open Court, returns next week. The six-part series, featuring Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, Steve Kerr, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, Chris Webber and Steve Smith, premiere’s Tuesday night at 11:00p.m. ET. Open Court will be televised weekly each Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. ET through Oct. 23. The Oct. 30 episode will air at 5:00p.m. ET. ESPN to Go All Access with Kentucky Wildcats- ESPN has announced that it will produce a series of behind-the-scenes programs with the University of Kentucky basketball program. All-Access Kentucky will follow Coach John Calipari and his staff as they preparethe defending national champion Wildcats from Big Blue Madness to the start of the 2012 season. The half-hour program will debut October 17th at 7:00p.m. ET. Next 30 for 30 Documentary Tuesday on ESPN- ESPN Films hopes for more viewership success Tuesday night as the next installment of its 30 for 30 documentary series takes to the air. 9.79* looks back at the 1988 Olympics and the doping scandal involving sprinter Ben Johnson. 9.79* , directed by Daniel Gordon, will debut at 8:00p.m. ET on ESPN. America’s Cup Series Racing on NBC- NBC Sports will air the America’s Cup World Series races live this Sunday from San Francisco. Todd Harris and Gary Jobson will be on the call beginning Sunday at 4:00p.m. ET.
