In observation of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, The Mary Kay Foundation awards $20,000 grants to more than 150 domestic-violence shelters across the country for a total of $3 million. Turning Point will use the grant to provide critical support for its operational costs at Turning Point's emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. Turning Point of Lehigh Valley is a credentialed comprehensive domestic violence service provider in the Lehigh Valley, serving both Lehigh and Northampton counties. The agency provides emergency shelter, prevention programs, legal advocacy, case management, community education and counseling. All services are free and confidential.
