http://sportsmediajournal.com/ Stanley Cup Finals Game Six Tonight- The Los Angeles Kings will look again to claim their first ever Stanley Cup Championship as they host the New Jersey Devils in Game Six of the Stanley Cup Finals tonight. Coverage begins on NBC Sports Network at 7:30p.m. ET with NHL Live with Liam McHugh, Mike Milbury and Keith Jones. Game time is 8:00p.m. ET with Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, Eddie Olczyk and Pierre McGuire. Former NBA Ref Javie Joins ESPN’s Finals Crew- Retired NBA referee Steve Javie will join ESPN during the NBA Finals as a rules analyst. Javie will partake in ESPN’s studio programming – primarily SportsCenter – and offer his insights during pregame and postgame shows throughout The NBA Finals. Javie officiated in the league for 25 years before retiring prior to the 2011-12 season. Yankees/Braves on Wednesday Night Baseball- This week’s Wednesday Night Baseball telecast on ESPN will feature the New York Yankees at the Atlanta Braves. First pitch is 7:00p.m. ET with Dave O’Brien and Nomar Garciaparra on the call. WNBA Tips-Off Wednesday on ESPN2- The 2012 WNBA season on ESPN2 tips-off Wednesday when the Los Angeles Sparks take on the Connecticut Sun. Gametime is 8:00p.m. ET with Pam Ward and Rebecca Lobo. Cindy Brunson will anchor the studio coverage. Former Panthers Beat Writer Joins Pro Football Talk- NBC Sports announced that former Carolina Panthers beat writer Darin Gantt is joining the staff at Pro Football Talk. The former Rock Hill Herald writer will work with PFT founder Mike Florio. Jaworski to Examine 30 NFL Quarterbacks- ESPN NFL analyst Ron Jaworski will be taking a closer look at 30 veteran NFL quarterbacks as part of his Jaws’ QB Countdown. The segments, which began today, will continue on the 9:00a.m. ET edition of SportsCenter. The daily series will count down the league’s veteran starters, culminating with Jaworski’s top-ranked quarterback to be unveiled on Tuesday, July 10. The three-minute segments will also air onNFL Live (4 p.m., ESPN), NFL32 (6 p.m., ESPN2) and other editions of SportsCenter. New York Jets back-up quarterback Tim Tebow will also be featured as part of the series.
