Lehigh, Lafayette to get national TV games next football season

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER The CBS Sports Network and Patriot League revealed earlier today that it will two Patriot League games next football season will be televised nationally and each game features one of our Lehigh Valley teams. CBS will do the Lafayette game at Bucknell at noon on Sept 22 and the Colgate game at Lehigh at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 10. From the release: The Leopards and Bison will square off in Lewisburg as they look to open the League schedule on a high note. Bucknell finished 6-5 overall last season, a five-game turnaround from the previous year, while Lafayette had a 4-7 mark. The Bison beat the Leopards 29-13 last year, snapping a nine-game Lafayette streak in the series. Colgate and Lehigh will have their matchup shown on CBS Sports Network for the second year in a row. The Mountain Hawks went to Hamilton and defeated the Raiders 45-25 on Oct. 29 of last season. Two-time defending Patriot League champion Lehigh has won 14 consecutive League contests entering the 2012 campaign, and advanced to the FCS quarterfinals while finishing with an 11-2 record last season. Colgate finished with a 5-6 record in 2011.
