Heat/Magic NBA TV Fan Night Presentation- NBA TV has announced that this Tuesday’s Fan Night game will feature the Miami Heat at the Orlando Magic. Tip-off is at 7:00p.m. ET. Fans can vote on one of the following games to be the Fan Night presntation for March 20th: Phoenix Suns @ Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors @ New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder @ Utah Jazz, Milwaukee Bucks @ Portland Trail Blazers or the Memphis Grizzlies @ Sacramento Kings.

Tennis Channel Prepares for Coverage of BNP Paribas Open and Sony Ericsson Open- The Tennis Channel plans over 325 hours of coverage of the BNP Paribas Open from Indian Wells,CA and the Sony Ericsson Open from Miami. The network will provide 12 hours of coverage of the two events, from the first round through to the semifinals. Announcer Brett will handle play-by-play responsibilities during the BNP Paribas Open, joined by analyst Justin Gimelstob. Lindsay Davenport will also provide insight, as will Ashley Fisher. Davenport and Gimelstob will be joined at the Sony Ericsson Open by play-by-play announcer Ted Robinson. Mary Carillo will also appear in the Miami booth with Robinson March 26 and 27. The tournaments begin March 10th and end April 1st.

Turner Sports Makes Changes in Communications Staff- Turner Sports announced today that Jenn Toner has been elevated to vice president of Turner Broadcasting Ad Sales and Sports Business Communications and Nate Smeltz has been named vice president of Turner Sports Content Communications. Smeltz was recently the Director of Communications at ESPN overseeing the PR for its coverage of the NBA and MLB. Toner has been promoted from her post at Turner as Director of Public Relations.
