ALLENTOWN will be hold three open housees as part of its ongoing efforts to provide information on the progress of the Allentown hockey arena project. The Open Houses will make available information and displays on a variety of aspects of the arena project, including why it makes sense for Downtown Allentown, how the city plans to foster job and training opportunities, and what can be expected over the coming year as construction gets underway. Representatives from the city, as well as the engineers, geologists, experts and others who performed the planning, design and feasibility studies – will be on-hand to address questions one-on-one. There will be no formal presentation at these events. The schedule is: 6-8 p.m. Nov. 29, Allentown Central Catholic High School, 301 N.
