Pius X quarterback AJ Long threw four touchdown passes -- including a pair to senior wide receiver Drake Freeman -- as the Royals advanced to the District 11 Class A final with a 42-14 win over Williams Valley.
Pius X, which lost in the 2010 final to Schuylkill Haven, are anxious for another shot a District gold. The Royals will host the Minersville/Shenandoah winner on Nov. 19 at Nazareth.
"It feels good to be back," Freeman said. "We worked so hard in the offseason, it feels like it's starting to pay off."
