How would you describe Life, How can one comprehend failure?, Talent is endless and motivation knows no ends; born to a Farmer and a Secretary in the Beautiful twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Napstar Saint born Emile Emmanuel Ramsingh on February 22nd 1989, has always struggled to fit into society's strict rules and laws, with a gifted academic brain and a voice to express the pain and joys of growing up struggling, Saint as he is so fondly called often found forums in both academics and music to display his talents, from meeting members of his native government who hailed his brilliance, to performing in front of seasoned musicians from the age of 12, he has always taken everything in stride and embraces the full spectrum of his gifts and talents.

Brian Halloran

Singer/songwriter Brian Halloran has been performing alternative and indie pop and rock in and around NYC for over ten years. Prior to that, he was a founding member of the Chicago-based band, Citrus. Between 2007-09, Brian toured with Irish-rock band, Ceann. He also just completed a successful crowd-funding campaign at rockethub.com to finish his new album, "News From The Queen Victoria", due out in early 2011.

Kim and Ed Rhoades with Michi Egger

Kim and Ed Rhoades are a husband and wife musical duo, who perform original and cover songs ranging through blues, pop, folk, jazz and some country. They played at the Center last year and during Martin on Main. For this performance they will be joined by Michiko Egger, a Line Mountain HS junior, who sings and plays guitar. Dave Doll & The Jones Sisters
January 22, 2011 | 8:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Returning to the Center for the first time since our Grand Opening Show is Dave Doll. A native of the Lehigh Valley, Dave is recognized as the leader of the former band Paradigm, a ten-year performer with the Bobby Mercer Road Show, and most recently, as a progressive and aggressive solo rock act. He has opened for bands such as the Gin Blossoms and Third Eye Blind, and has won many accolades including the 2006 Lehigh Valley Acoustic Competition and numerous regional Battle of the Bands contests.
Nine years of professional dedication to The Martin Guitar Company has also led Dave to a greater understanding of the guitar from not only a technical standpoint, but also artistically and aesthetically. To him, the instrument is more than just an accompaniment to his voice; the guitar is its own voice. Dave is so dedicated to the instrument and quality of its sound, that he now builds and plays his own custom guitars, along with his prized Martins. Learn more and listen to his music.

Jimmy & Jimmy Duo

Jimmy & The Parrots' Jimmy and Jimmy Maraventano return to the Center. They filled the Center last January bringing a touch of summer to the winter cold. Jimmy and Jimmy perform not only all the great Buffett songs you love, they also play new and classic rock ‘n roll, as well as outstanding original songs written. Their cover songs include favorites by the Beach Boys, Paul Simon, Jerry Jeff Walker, Harry Belafonte, and Bob Marley, among many others.

Trevor Gordon Hall

The Science of Sound

With their songwriting often being described as vulnerably honest, Philadelphia/Bethlehem natives Bill McConney, Mike Swiger, and Michael McDonald have become a fixture on the tri-state area music scene. After Bill's 2009 release of his EP “Room For Grey”, they soon garnered attention to share the stage with many of the area’s finest. In 2010 SOS has been busy performing at various venues like; World Café’s Beta hi-fi Music Festival, NBC’s The 10 Show, ABC'S Tuned In and have had radio exposure on 93.7 WSTW. More recently they have begun working on new material for their debut trio album.

School of Rock

The School of Rock is set up so children learn the instrument of their choice and then get to jam with others in a show setting. This opens the door for kids to gain self confidence, which can only help in all their future endeavors. The school makes its return performance at the Center.

Elisha Kane

Elisha Kane (pronounced like Elijah), a new comer to the Philadelphia songwriter circle, will be bringing some friends along to perform as a trio featuring guitar, mandolin, and fiddle. A dreamer and an optimist, he writes lyrics that are honest and straightforward. Elisha hails from Phoenixville, PA which is home to an abundance of musicians, songwriters and artists alike. It's this environment that helped shape the songwriter he is today. Influenced by many popular Folk, Country, Rock and Alternative songwriters, Elisha Kane hopes to make his mark.

Dream Kids

In 1996, Jaime Lyn Keller and Adam Bonanni turned a dream into reality. Wanting to truly make a difference, they founded Dream Kids, a non-profit organization comprised of young performers. 100% of the proceeds Dream Kids receive from their performances are donated to Dream Come True.

Steve Brosky

Steve Brosky performed at Martin on Main and will be inside the Center for this performance. Steve is a singer/songwriter/guitarist with six CD's to his credit. Sterling Koch on Brosky's latest CD "Chronicles" wrote, "Steve Brosky has achieved near legendary status throughout the Lehigh Valley and it’s surroundings and its just a wonder why hes never reached those lofty heights nationally. He should. To call Brosky merely a singer/songwriter demeans the mans work. He is a writer of slices of life as seen through the cock-eyed, slightly skewed gaze of a man who’s seen more than you and I might ever hope to or want to."
Arrangements have not been finalized, but Steve expects to have some friends joining him for the show.

Michael Sweigard

Milton, PA's singer/songwriter, Michael Sweigard, returns to the Center for an acoustic performance. Raised in PA, Sweigard attends school in the Nashville area and has been honing his songwriting there, while performing on a regular basis.

Celtic Spirit Band

It's a St. Patrick's Eve celebration at the Center featuring the Celtic Spirit Band. Celtic Spirit is a band dedicated to presenting the traditional folk music of Ireland and Scotland along with contemporary and original compositions that we weave into our shows at all of the great locations where we have the fortune to perform. We have great respect for the traditions that we continue and owe a deep gratitude not only to the composers of the songs we play, but also to all those who have influenced our music through the years.

Craig Thatcher & Nyk Van Wyke

Lehigh Valley based blues/rock singer and guitarist Craig Thatcher returns to the Center to perform with violin virtuoso Nyk Van Wyke and may be joined by a few others from his Craig Thatcher Blues Band. Thatcher's performance of many of Eric Claptons' songs are renowned and his previous performances have left the audiences in awe and wanting for more.

Bill Toms

With a guitar, a pen, a lot of passion, Bill Toms connects to an audience and embraces the American traditions of rhythm, blues, soul, folk, and country. His gifts of music and storytelling, paired with his creative compulsion for songs that burrow deep into the soul, have his dedicated fans continually coming back for more.
Bill performed with The Houserockers for 19 years, during which time Bruce Springsteen produced their 1995 CD "American Babylon". As a soloist, Bill has toured throughout Europe and the United States. For this show he travels from his home town of Pittsburgh, PA.

Mike's music combines rhythmic grooves, magnetic melodies, and memorable lyrics that take the listener in many directions . He uses rock, jazz, funk and folk to create a unique sound that is honest, raw, and real. Mike describes his music as "A batter of multiple influences thrown into a musical cookie jar, and depending on the mental appetite at the time, taken back out fully baked to feed famished song enthusiasts everywhere." Maggie Spike

Berks County, PA natives Peggy and Eric Gernerd are the musical duo, MAGGIE SPIKE. MAGGIE SPIKE are singer/songwriters whose music takes you to a place where melody, rhythm, harmony and poignant lyrics converge to create a sound that is easily accessible and highly entertaining.
Drawing from a mixed bag of musical styles such as folk, rock, jazz, Celtic, reggae and world music, they perform their self-penned songs with passionate appeal and soulful insight. Their latest cd, “Sol Paradise” is a world/jazz/folk influenced cd and draws from the musical talents of 20 musicians from Berks and Lancaster Counties, and the Lehigh Valley.

Lester Hirsh

Lester Hirsh Grammy nominated guitarist, singer/songwriter, and poet returns to the Center to perform on a Spanish 6-string and acoustic 12-string guitar. His style ranges from classical, country, and folk, to Brazilian jazz and Flamenco. His repertoire includes original compositions as well as standards performed with intriguing percussive guitar riffs and harmonica.

The Who Knows Band

Keith Naylor (vocals, acoustic & electric guitar) comes from a folk and rock roots, Jack Boyer (percussion and vocals) plays swing, rock, country, blues, Latin, and reggae, Dale Barth (violin virtuoso), Chuck Kagel (bass guitar), and Allan Cook, The Dr. of Funk, Jive, Jazz & Junk a.k.a. "The One Man Horn Section" comprise the Who Know Band. Expect to hear songs from a range of musicians from the Beatles and Clapton to the Allman Brothers and Skynard. Their song lists includes Matchbox 20, Paul Simon, the Talking Heads, Dave Matthews, Dire Straits and many more.
