"Hard Knocks" series on Jets to re-air on Saturday

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Trying to capitalize on the New York Jets reaching the AFC championship game, HBO2 is re-airing its five-part series: "Hard Knocks: Training Camp With The New York Jets" on Saturday starting at 3 p.m.

The series originally aired last summer.

It will be a five-hour marathon and in it you'll see why this is football's loudest, most colorful team and why most people either love them or hope the Steelers win by 30 on Sunday.

Personally, I believe the "Hard Knocks" series, no matter which team has been involved, has been among the best football shows on television. With NFL Films, you have the gold standard of football documentary teams involved.

But none of the previous teams involved -- the Bengals, Cowboys, Ravens etc. -- had the personality of these Jets. Certainly Rex Ryan is more entertaining than previous coaches like Marvin Lewis and Wade Phillips.

As for me, sorry Pitt6Rings, but I will be rooting for the Jets on Sunday. I respect your team -- but not Ben Roethlisberger as a person -- and think it will be much more fun to have the Jets in the Super Bowl.
