Even through the rain stopped Tuesday morning, several games on the area's softball schedule were wiped out by rain.
Pen Argyl at Northern Lehigh, for instance, was moved to Thursday.
Whitehall at Easton was moved to Monday, April 21.
And, both Liberty at Parkland and Emmaus at Nazareth was moved to today.
But there were games played, and some high run totals were registered as pitchers and defenses may still be struggling to get in sync because of all the weather-related issues.
Here's a rundown of what was played:
LEHIGH VALLEY CONFERENCE
Bethlehem Catholic 17, Central Catholic 1 -- Julia Madison and Brooke Rau both went 3-for-4 and combined for five runs and three RBIs.
Northampton 10, Dieruff 0 -- Bri Dalton had triple on offense and 10 Ks as pitcher.
COLONIAL LEAGUE
Bangor 15, Palmerton 11 -- Slaters scored 12 runs in the top of the seventh.
Wilson 4, Palisades 2 -- Devyn Losco had two hits, including a double and Madison Oren pitched a six-hitter.
Salisbury 7, Saucon Valley 5 -- Meghan Williams 2-3 with a HR, double, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.
Catasauqua 18, Notre Dame 0 -- Hannah Edwards had 4 hits, while Lexi Ayache, Olivia Schlofer and Amarys Moten had three hits apiece. Ayache was also winning pitcher.
