Recap of Tuesday's softball games: LVC's best teams all post wins

Most days during this softball season, you check the scores and find at least one that catches you by complete surprise.
That really wasn't the case with the Lehigh Valley Conference on Tuesday.
The six best teams in the league posted wins over the other six. No upsets in the mix.
A recap:
Emmaus 9, Easton 0 --- Rachel Brown 1-hitter and hit HR; Olivia Marcks HR, 3 RBIs. Rebecca Mitch had lone hit for Red Rovers.
Northampton 10, CCHS 0 -- Two hits apiece for  Alexandra Reppert, Auria Enright and Emily Schwartz.
Becahi 4, Whitehall 2 -- Elyse Cuttic WP and 2-for-3 with a double.
Nazareth 9, Allen 4 -- Tori Anne Hahn HR, 2B, 3 RBIs; Brooke Lichty 3-for-5.
Liberty 15, Dieruff 0 -- Victoria Schmidt 2-hitter; Lily Acosta 2-2, HR, 2 R, 2 RBIs.

Bangor 2, Southern Lehigh 1 -- Nice bounce back win for the Slaters after Monday's loss to Catty. Kaitlyn Caleen 2-for-2, 2B.
Northwestern 5, Notre Dame 2 -- Brooke Wehr 3-4, 2 Rs; Sunny Greenberg 2-4, 2 2Bs, 2 RBIs;
Catasauqua 11, Saucon Valley 0 --  Hannah Edwards 3-3, 2 runs; Shea O'Brien 2-3, 2 runs.
Palmerton 20, Palisades 10 -- The Bombers and Crusaders football teams would probably be happy to score as much as the softball teams did here. For Palmerton, Kendra Pekurny 3-5, HR, 4 RBIs; Janel Tracy 2-3, 2 RBIs; Reese Dugan 4-4, 2B, HR, 4 RBIs. For Palisades, Melissa Albe 2-2, HR, 2 RBIs; Karlee Krchnavi 2-4, 2 HR, 6 RBIs.
Tuesday's Mountain Valley Conference
Pleasant Valley 7, Stroudsburg 2 -- The Bears scored seven unanswered runs after Sarah Canfield's two-run HR gave Mounties early lead. PV's offensive stars included Brittany Bonser 3-3, 2 2Bs, 2 R, RBI; Kelsey Miczak 3-4, 2 R, RBI; Kiersten Griesback 3-3, R, RBI.
Lehighton 17, PM East 7 -- No info available.
