FROM LEHIGH
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh baseball team was victorious in both games of Saturday's doubleheader against Lafayette (11-24, 4-12 PL), taking game one 7-2 before winning the nightcap 4-2 on the Goodman Campus Baseball Field on Senior Day. The wins secure Lehigh's (22-19, 9-8 PL) first Patriot League Tournament berth since 2010.
"Obviously qualifying for the playoffs was the goal today, but what was fun was seeing the seniors do such an outstanding job," said head coach Sean Leary. "The seniors that got us to this point were outstanding. I was excited when we kept tacking on runs and didn't get shaken by being down early."
