I know a lot of people have been asking about the funeral arrangements for Ron Madouse.
Obviously, he touched a lot of lives as a coach at Whitehall and Catasauqua and a teacher at Freedom.
Here is his obit and the funeral details courtesy of Gilbert Funeral Home of Whitehall:
Ronald William Madouse 51 years of Whitehall, passed away on Tuesday April 15, 2014
at his home. He was the husband of Wendy L. (Eichelberger) Madouse for 26 years.
He was born in Allentown to the late William and Sandra (Meleta) Madouse.
A 1980 graduate of Whitehall High School, Ron received his degree from Bloomsburg University in 1984 and
his MBA from Wilmington College in 1990. He has been a business teacher at Freedom High School in Bethlehem
since 1992, and served as an advisor of the DECA, FBLA, and Financial Club.
Very active and dedicated to Whitehall Sports his whole life, Ron was the WHS JV basketball coach since 2004. He also coached baseball, basketball and football at the Schadt Ave. and Hokey playgrounds, coached basketball in Catasauqua from 1993 to 2003, and earlier was the softball and asst. football coach at Concord H.S. in Delaware.
Survivors: beside his wife Wendy;
sons Tyler and Tanner at home;
sister Mary Olson and her husband Perry of Knotts Island, NC;
Wendy’s mother Iris Eichelberger;
along with all of the Eichelberger, Seitz, Zoller and Laky Families;
he was blessed with so many wonderful, dedicated and supportive friends;
Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 22, 2014 in Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Rd. Whitehall PA 18052
with Rev. Michael J. Bodnyk officiating. His viewings will be 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday and 9:00 to 9:45 am Tuesday in the Gathering Place of the church.
Interment will follow in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Coplay.
