Central Catholic High School guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman has committed to play basketball next year at the University of Michigan, the senior announced today on his Twitter account.
Abdur-Rahkman averaged 23.5 points per game this year for the Vikings and was named to the PIAA Class AAA first team, becoming the first four-time all-state selection in the Lehigh Valley.
He also broke Billy McCaffrey's school scoring record, finishing with 2,136 career points as the Vikings went undefeated in the regular season and reached the PIAA Class AAA quarterfinals.
