FROM KEITH GROLLER

As mentioned in my Around the Valley column this morning, Dieruff High School will be sending its marching band and Air Force ROTC drill team to Canton to participate in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement weekend that will include the induction of 1981 Dieruff graduate Andre Reed.
The Dieruff students will be marching in the parade prior to the ceremony.
The cost to send each band member and cadet to Canton is $115 (bus, lodging, food etc) and Dieruff is hoping for some help from sponsors to make sure everyone who wants to go, can go.
Sponsorships are available: A gold level (10 Huskies for $1,150); a silver (5 Huskies for Photo (9)$575) and bronze (1 Husky for $115.
According to a flyer, the tax-deductible donation could help create memories that will last a lifetime ... for you and for them. Those who sponsor a Husky will be given the name of that student.Photo (7)
Checks should be made payable to the Dieruff High School Alumni Association and can be sent to Dieruff at 815 N. Irving St., Allentown PA 18109.
For more information on the sponsor opportunities or the special Andre Reed Day T-shirts that are available for $12, e-mail Dieruff principal Sue Bocian at bocians@allentownsd.org
