Today we preview the new sitcoms that made the 2013-14 broadcast network schedules. There will be a total of fourteen new sitcoms on the fall schedule. Four are traditional multi-camera sitcoms. Ten are single-camera comedies. Eight additional sitcoms have been ordered for mid-season. Five will be single-camera comedies. Two will be traditional multi-camera sitcoms. One will be an animated comedy from Fox.
ABC is adding four single-camera comedies to their fall schedule. They also have another single-camera comedy for mid-season. Top-rated CBS has four sitcoms on the fall schedule, with two single-camera and two multi-camera. Fox will have three new sitcoms in the fall, with two single-camera and one multi-camera. They also have three scheduled for mid-season, with two being single-camera and one animated series. NBC goes for the laughs with three new comedies on their fall schedule. Two are single-camera comedies. Their third sitcom is a multi-camera sitcom, starring Sean Hayes and Linda Lavin. They have three sitcoms scheduled for mid-season, with two single-camera and one multi-camera.
