For the second straight day, the entire District 11 4A softball tournament was postponed by rain, and one of the games has already been rescheduled for Monday.
Emmaus at Parkland has been moved to 5 p.m. Saturday, but a contingency plan already is in place that could have the game played at 2 p.m. Monday.
Liberty at Freedom has been moved to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Pottsville at Northampton has been moved to noon on Saturday.
Stroudsburg at Pleasant Valley has shifted to Monday at 11 a.m.
In Class 2A, North Schuylkill at Notre Dame has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday. The winner of that game will play Catasauqua at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at Parkland. The other 2A semifinal is already set: Pine Grove vs. Pen Argyl at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Northwestern.
The two 3A games are still set for Tuesday -- Wilson vs. Becahi at 5 p.m. at Moravian and Palmerton vs. Southern Lehigh at 5 p.m. at Parkland.
And in Class A, they were fortunate to get both semifinals in on Thursday and the title matchup is set: Williams Valley vs. Tri-Valley for Tuesday night at Blue Mountain at a time to be announced.
