Fox Sports Names Highlight Show Anchor Team for Fox Sports 1-  Fox Sports announced today that it has hired former Canadian sports anchor team of Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole as the primary highlight team for Fox Sports Live, Fox Sports 1’s flagship news, opinion and highlights program airing nightly at 11:00 PM ET.  For the last five years the duo has been the anchor of TSN’s SportsCentre, Canada’s most-watched sports news program.  Onrait and O’Toole.  Fox Sports Live premieres in conjunction with the network’s launch on Saturday, August 17th.
Next SEC Storied Documentary to Premiere May 15th-  ESPn has announced that the next in its series ofSEC Storied documentaries will debut Wednesday, May 15th, at 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU.  Abby Head On chronicles Abby Wambach’s soccer career thus far, from winning a national title at Florida to her rise as a U.S. women’s national team star only four goals away from breaking Mia Hamm’s all-time international scoring record.
NHL 36 Returns to NBCSN Looking at the Blackhawks-  NBC announced that it is working with the NHL to again produce NHL 36 a documentary series focusing on a player or team in the league. NHL 36: Chicago Blackhawks is a two-p[art series looking behind-the-scenes at the Chicago Blackhawks.  NHL 36: Chicago Blackhawks debuts tomorrow night on the NBC Sports Network following the Blackhaws’ playoff game with the Minnesota Wild which begins at 9:30p.m. ET.
NASCAR Nationwide Series this Weekend from Darlington on ESPN- The next stop in the NASCAR Nationwide Series will take place this Friday night from the Darlington Motor Raceway.  Alan Bestwick will be joined by Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree for the call of the race while Dave Burns, Jamie Little, Dr. Jerry Punch and Vince Welch report from the pits.  Action begins at 7:00p.m. ET with NASCAR Countdown with Nicole Briscoe, Rusty Wallace and Brad Daugherty.
