Pepper Leaves NBC To Cover Golf for ESPN-  ESPN has announced that it has hired former NBC golf reporter Dottie Pepper to serve in the same role at ESPN.  Pepper begins her new role at the U.S. Open next month and will also make appearances on SportsCenter and write for ESPN.com.
NBC Sees Record Viewership Numbers from the Players Championship-  NBC Sports reported yesterday that Sunday’s final round of the Player’s Championship averaged 7.6 million viewers with a rating of 5.0, the largest audience for the tournament in 20 years.  The audience was up 59% over 2012.
PGA Tour Returns to CBS This Weekend with Byron Nelson Championship- CBS gets back to its coverage of the PGA Tour this weekend with the Byron Nelson Championship.  Action will begin at 3:00p.m. ET both Saturday and Sunday.  Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo anchor the coverage with Ian Baker-Finch at the 17th hole and Gary McCord at the 16th hole. David Feherty and Peter Kostis serve as on-course reporters.
