It looks like the Lehigh Valley Conference is staying together after all.
League president and Whitehall High School principal Chris Schiffert confirmed earlier this week that the LVC plans to move forward and not accept the invitation of the Mountain Valley Conference to form what might be best described as a "Super Conference" featuring Class 4A schools.
That doesn't mean, however, that a merger of some form won't take place.
