It was the coldest playoff night I can ever remember at Pates Park with the temperatures in the low 40s by the time Emmaus' 6-2 10-inning win over Northampton was complete.

It was more crowded in the pressbox than usual as more people needed some shelter to stay warm. "Football weather" is how veteran local photographer Don Herb described it.
