FROM THE MORNING CALL
In a perfect world, IronPigs right-hander Zach Miner more than likely wouldn't have faced Syracuse's Corey Brown Sunday afternoon.
Lehigh Valley manager Dave Brundage would've brought in a lefty to face the lefty-swinging Brown in the ninth inning of a tie game.
But of the three lefty relievers on Brundage's roster, Joe Savery had thrown the previous two nights, and Jake Diekman had thrown a combined 54 pitches in two appearances over the first three days of the season.
