8:00pm Sherlock Holmes: The Dying Detective Holmes and Watson help a financier's wife who believes her husband is slowly being addicted to opium by a greedy family member.

9:00pm Call the Midwife: Episode 5 The community prepares for the annual summer fête, which is slated to feature a baby show with a celebrity judge. In other events, Jenny meets an impoverished mother of eight who fears that she may soon have another mouth to feed.

10:00pm Masterpiece Classic: Mr. Selfridge
Mr. Grove takes charge in Harry's absence, but faces a plethora of problems, including a suffragette march that's supposed to pass in front of the store. In other events, Agnes gets to know Henri, the window dresser.

8:00pm Antiques Roadshow: Cincinnati In Cincinnati, items include a trophy from the 1908 Belmont Stakes; an early 20th-century toy horse and buggy; a French advertising poster; and a bust of Abraham Lincoln.

10:00pm Pompeii: The Last Day The final moments of the city that was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in A.D. 79, are re-created using dramatic reconstructions, historical descriptions and computer imagery to follow a cast of characters that includes lovers, soldiers, slaves and families.

The Titanic with Len Goodman

This A dramatic portrayal of the Titanic's final hours from the perspective of the ship's engineers, who toiled beneath deck to keep the ship's power systems running even after they learned all was lost.
 
9:00pm The Titanic with Len Goodman The legacy of the Titanic is explored by "Dancing With the Stars" judge Len Goodman, who once worked as an apprentice welder for the company that built the ship. He visits Belfast, where it was built, and Southampton, England, home to many of the dead, and meets with descendants of the passengers and crew.

10:00pm Titanic Belfast: Birthplace of a Legend The history of the Titanic, which was built in Belfast from 1909 to 1912. Included: how and why the ship was built.
