BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh fought back from an early 3-0 deficit to pull even at four, but American responded with a 5-0 run to end the half and rode the momentum in the second as the Mountain Hawks dropped a 16-8 final on Sunday. Senior Julie McBrien scored five of Lehigh’s goals, including the first four.
Sunday was Lehigh's Pink Game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness as the Mountain Hawks wore special pink uniforms. Several alumnae also returned for the game, including many from Lehigh's 1985 East Coast Conference Championship team.
