The event includes a reception, dinner, music, live and silent auctions, and appearances by sports legends and celebrity guests. GLASS CEILING GALA: Terry Gross of NPR is the featured speaker at the Breaking the Glass Ceiling Gala, honoring the YWCA of Bethlehem's 85th anniversary, at 5 p.m. Oct. 27 at the event center at Blue. The event includes a wine and cheese reception, dinner, awards and dancing. Cost is $150 per person, $250 per couple or $1,200 for table of 10. Sponsorships from $100 to $10,000 available. Proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund of the Lehigh Valley. The event includes specialty cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, raffles, a DJ, dancing, live performances and prizes for best costumes. Must be 21 or older to attend. Admission is $50.
