FROM THE MORNING CALL
Despite outgaining Liberty 308 yards to 122 in the first half, Whitehall had only a 14-7 halftime lead over visiting Liberty on Friday night.
"We made attitude adjustments more than anything else at halftime," said Zephyrs coach Brian Gilbert.
Those adjustments certainly worked.
On the first play from scrimmage in the second half, Whitehall got a hit in the backfield and linebacker Jake Kerschner rumbled 31 yards for a touchdown.
