Liberty University is an impressive place

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/ FROM KEITH GROLLER Still about 90 minutes from Lehigh's kickoff here at William Stadium at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. and I have to say this a class facility. The Flames would like to become a FBS program if they can find a conference that will have them and they certainly do have the facilities to make that upgrade. I was here once before in 2004, but they have remodeled the place since then, and this is clearly the best place and best atmosphere Lehigh will experience all season -- save for the finale at Lafayette on Nov. 17. The press box is of NFL caliber, and all of the facilities are top-notch. Coming in -- Lehigh received a police escort by the way -- we passed an indoor soccer center and an ice hockey rink. Mike Yadush, the Whitehall High defensive coordinator who is serving as color analyst on WFMZ-69.4 Liberty U 006tonight, is excited to know that the only artificial skiing resort in the country is just off campus and in view of the press box.
