Pocono Mountain West's Krisiak spread it out in beating Becahi

FROM THE MORNING CALL
Pocono Mountain West coach Jim McCarroll said his new spread offense came out of necessity.
"We knew coming into the season we'd have to throw the ball," he said. "We don't have the line to be able to pound the ball against people. In the past, I've had 1,000-yard rushers here and we were an I-back team, but this year we'll probably never be in a two-back set. So, we will be spread out, even with five wideouts a lot of the time."
Change, no matter why it happens, can be good.
It was very good for the Panthers last Friday night when their spread attack produced a record-breaking passing performance by senior Jeff Krisiak. He completed 26 of 33 passes for a school-record 368 yards in his team's surprising 35-26 win over Bethlehem Catholic.
