ALLENTOWN DOG TRAINING CLUB, a non-profit club, will hold the following classes: beginner obedience class for dogs five months and older at Franko Farms Park, Salisbury Township, beginning April 10; and puppy kindergarten at Macungie Memorial Park for puppies ten to 16 weeks old, beginning April 19. To register for each class which is $135 and will be held for eight weeks, call 610-439-2800.

THE ALLENTOWN YARD WASTE SITE at Oxford Drive and Fish Hatchery Road will opened for the season on April 7 and is open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Allentown residents are required to show identification. The East Side Yard Waste Site is permanently closed. Dumping of yard waste or trash is prohibited and subject to fines. NORTHAMPTON COUNTY

SAUCON VALLEY LIBRARY TASK FORCE will hold a public meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday April 12 at the Lower Saucon Township Council Meeting Room, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike. An interim report on the Library Consolidation Feasibility Study will be presented. For information, call 610-865-3291.
